| Zusammenfassung | The Hemispherical Blackbody (HSBB) was developed at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt a few years ago. It serves as a traceable irradiance standard. The HSBB is used to calibrate radiometers measuring the nocturnal atmospheric Downward Longwave Radiation which is relevant for climate research. In this work, the new calibration of the HSBB against the national standard for radiation temperature is demonstrated. A new robot-assisted and automated calibration setup was used. The laboratory measurement uncertainty was significantly reduced compared to a former calibration. The complete uncertainty budget of the HSBB was compiled. The HSBB is now being established as a new national irradiance standard. |
