| Zusammenfassung | Recent advances in magnet design, image reconstruction, and deep learning have renewed interest in low-field (LF) MRI for portable neuroimaging. Modern systems achieve faster acquisitions and improved image quality, showing diagnostic promise for neurological disorders and safety benefits such as reduced magnetic forces and lower SAR. However, simulations and phantom studies have shown that localized heating in implants at 0.55 T can exceed thatat 1.5 T in particular scenarios, cautioning against blanket safety assumptions across LF systems . |
