Freie Schlagworte System Imperfections ; System Imperfections: Measurement & Correction
Zusammenfassung Accuracy and precision of MRI experiments strongly rely on hardware fidelity. While gradient imperfections receive considerable attention, RF imperfections are often disregarded. RF correction methods have been proposed for complex pTx or multiband applications, however, imperfections within the RF-chain (amplifier and coil) would also a!ect absolute quantification techniques with simpler RF-waveforms, in particular precise B+1 -mapping methods that are necessary for coil validation or for quantitative corrections. Here, we report deviations from the expected RF signal that we observed by pick-up coil measurements in MRF based B+1 - mapping scans in comparison to a reference B+1 -mapping approach using a commercial 1Tx/32Rx head coil. Furthermore, we investigate the temporal stability of the MRF-pattern and its impact on the resulting values.
