Zusammenfassung
We report a newly performed characterization of CMI’s precision digital synthesizer SWG focused on its application as a transfer standard for Josephson on-site AC voltage comparisons. A temperature stabilized active filter has been designed and new measurements with PTB’s AC quantum voltmeter were performed. The stability of the generated voltage was better than 2 parts in 10E8 for measurement times between 3 minutes and 20 minutes and 3 parts in 108 for measurement times up to 1 hour. In SWG units developed after this characterization, the temperature coefficient of the synthesizer was improved and is better than 0.1 μV/V/K and 0.4 μrad/K at 1 kHz.
