Zusammenfassung This pilot study was part of the EMPIR (18SIB09) TEMMT project. Therein, different methods for material parameter measurements in the THz spectral range have been compared. The different measurement setups include optical (TDS or FDS) and resonant or VNA-based systems, all of which have unique properties like e.g. spectral coverage and system dynamics. The comparison covered a frequency range from approximately 100 GHz up to several THz. Part of the study was also to evaluate frequency limits of the different setups. A set of reference materials has been measured by as many setups as possible. In addition, the measurements have been analysed with different material parameter extraction methods to study and compare different algorithms. In a final report, results are presented and compared with the associated uncertainties for the real and imaginary parts of permittivity. This shows the advantages and disadvantages of each method and setup in terms of sensitivity, stability and spectral coverage.
