| Zusammenfassung | The PMOD/WRC reference blackbody provides the traceability of atmospheric longwave irradiance measurements to the International Temperature Scale (ITS-90). A hemispherical blackbody cavity was developed by a joint collaboration between PMOD/WRC and the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) within the project, EMPIR 16ENV03 METEOC-3, to compare and validate the traceability chain for atmospheric longwave irradiance with target uncertainties of less than 2 Wm-2. |
