| Zusammenfassung | MRI in the human body at ultra-high fields (>7T) is highly challenging and typically limited by motion and strong inter-subject variations of the spatial flip-angle (FA) patterns caused by varying body shapes and dimensions. To overcome these limitations, subjectspecific tailored parallel transmission (pTx) or pre-computed universal pulses (UPs) independent of the subject have been recently proposed. In contrast to static pTx, however, dynamic pTx can be more susceptible to deviations in the main magnetic field (∆B0), which can be substantial in 7T cardiac MRI. In this work, we demonstrate the feasibility of frequency robust UPs across a 1400-Hertz frequency range that includes water and six fat frequencies to achieve homogeneous flip-angle (FA) distributions throughout the heart in the human body. Code for the pulse design and all thoracic 3D B1+ datasets are provided under an open-source licence and could also serve as a basis for new projects without the need to have access to a 7T scanner. |
