| Zusammenfassung | A new bilingual (French and English) International Vocabulary of terms used in Metrology has just been published by ISO under joint authority of the four sponsors – ISO, IEC, OIML and BIPM. This paper deals with the origins of the Vocabulary and with some of the problems which arose in the course of the work on its preparation: it also comments on some oh the terms and definitions. |
