| Zusammenfassung | The construction of the pressure balance used for an improved representation of the PTB pressure scale in the range up to 100 MPa is briefly described. The results of comparison measurements performed with standard instruments for lower pressures are presented. The limits estimated for the uncertainty of the coefficients used to describe the pressure dependence of the effective area of the piston-cylinder systems are discussed. The relative uncertainty of pressure measurements with the 100 MPa pressure balance standard is shown to be Δ Pe/Pe = 3 · 10-5 + 3 · 10-7 MPa-1 · pe. |
