| Zusammenfassung | Turbulent hot jet ignition is of vital interest concerning the combustion of lean and ultra-lean mixtures e.g. in reciprocating engines. Detailed quantitative knowledge about the shape, chemical composition and temperature field of the hot free jet with high spatial resolution is essential for the optimization of jet-triggered ignition processes, yet these parameters change with high temporal and spatial frequency. Our group sets up a multi-channel LIF-/Rayleigh laser system for simultaneous measurements of gas concentrations, temperatures and reaction zones. A model system is used to evaluate the measurement setup. |
