| Zusammenfassung | A European intercomparison campaign of ultrasonic power measurements, organized by the Bureau of Reference (BCR) of the European Communities, is reported. The time-averaged, ultrasonic power radiated by five ultrasonic transducers of nominally 1, 2, 4, 5 and 10 MHz and ranging from nominally 10 mW to 200 mW was measured by the participating laboratories in three countries. All results agreed with one another within the estimated uncertainties. There was also close agreement with the theoretical expression for the radiation conductance as calculated in the Appendix. The transducers have thus been established as European reference transducers and can be used for calibration purposes. |
