| Zusammenfassung | The degree of sensitivity of BRDF to polarization of the incident beam for matte ceramic tiles is shown and a model to describe the observed trends is developed. Measurements show that the degree of polarization depends strongly on the magnitude of the BRDF which is interpreted in a model to be due to the relative contributions of a specular component from surface facets and a diffuse component from subsurface scattering. |
