| Zusammenfassung | A compact and stable UV monitoring source based on state-of-the-art commercially available light emitting diodes (LED) has been developed at PTB. It is designed to trace the radiometric calibrations - both responsivity and wavelength scale - of array spectroradiometers measuring direct solar irradiance in the wavelength range between 300 nm - 400 nm. This is especially important when the instruments are used outside of a laboratory. The paper presents the design and the characteristics of the UV-LED source (ULS). |
