Zusammenfassung A compact array spectroradiometer which enables high accuracy measurements in the UV spectral range is presented. Its design allows various applications such as measurements of high power UV lamps, risk assessment of sources and measurement of solar irradiance. The internal stray light, which is often dominant and the limiting factor in th UV spectral range is physically reduced so that no other stray light reduction methods are necessary e.g. mathematical corrections. The instrument and its elaborate components have been extensively characterized at the PTB and the high quality applicability could be demonstrated with measurements of the direct solar irradiance during an international intercomparison of total ozone measurements.
