| Zusammenfassung | We propose a novel method for the determination of optimal instrumentation of electrical grids. The method is based on singular value decomposition and the breadth-first search approach. The aim of the method developed is to achieve observability of an electrical grid with a minimal number of instrumented buses. Therefore, an efficient approach is presented to search for appropriate placements of measurements. The outcome can then be utilized to reduce the complexity of traditional optimal placement methods significantly. |
