| Zusammenfassung | The paper describes the concept of a new 20 kN deadweight force standard machine, which fulfils the requirements for the realization of the national force scale up to 20 kN with a relative uncertainty of 1·10-5 in the whole range of operation and with minimum influence of parasitic components. For this purpose no cantilever system was applied and the deflection behaviour of the loading frame was optimized with the finite element method (FEM). The design concept of the machine is based on the PC programmable logic control (PLC) and on a new coupling mechanism of the mass stack. |
