| Zusammenfassung | In Table 1 eight different multichannel SQUID-devices are listed. They are widely differing in the number of used SQUID sensors, gradiometer design and covered sensor area. This may lead to differences in the signals recorded from the same source. Such differences may occur not only in the spatial distribution, but also in the time domain. To illustrate this, MCG recordings of a healthy volunteer are shown in Fig. 1 for five different gradiometer modes and the magnetometer mode. All recordings were made simultaneously using a vector magnetometer designed by PTB. Significant differences in wave form, amplitude, and QRS-length are evident. Note that parameters of diagnostic relevance, such as the QRS-duration, are strongly influenced by the gradiometer configuration. |
