| Zusammenfassung | The present work is conducted within a project funded by the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP). In the contribution, an overview on the whole project is given. The major part of the presentation is then dedicated to the dissemination of the unit. Special attention is paid to minimise the uncertainty of the sound power. This can be achieved by an adequate scanning apparatus which is developed within the project. Furthermore, measurements related to bandwidth have been performed, since the characterisation of reference sound sources (RSS) either as broadband or narrow band sources is an important aspect of the Programme. Measurements include various RSS. The resulting sound power results have been checked for their robustness and compared to corresponding standards for their reproducibility. The influence of environmental conditions on the resulting sound power levels has also been of interest and has led to outdoor measurements. Results revealing the relation among sound power level, temperature and static pressure are presented. Special attention has also been paid to reflection influences of the equipment used for the measurements. Additionally, the influence of the electric supply of the RSS on the radiated sound power levels has been checked. |
