Zusammenfassung The effectiveness of biomedical applications of magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) crucially depends on the knowledge about the magnetic characteristics of the MNP used. By aggregation and clustering through the interaction with the biomolecular environment the MNP can considerably change their magnetic behavior [1]. Applying temperature dependent magnetorelaxometry (TMRX) we examined these magnetic behavior changes due to enforced MNP aggregation in the presence of a high salt concentration. The two kinds of MNP we investigated by TMRX showed pronounced changes in their MRX signal after aggregation due to NaCl.
