| Zusammenfassung | Magnetic Particle Spectroscopy uses the nolinear response of magnetic nanoparticles when subjected to an oscillating magnetic field. This method is highly sensitive, unaffected by non-nanoparticular iron (e.g. body iron, iron contaminaion), and thus allows for quantification of magnetic nanoparticles in biological systems. Here we studied the MNP uptake in non-adherent human acute monocytic leukemia cells (THP-1). Additionally, we explored the influence of the measurement procedure on the viability of these cells. |
