| Zusammenfassung | Sensitive magnetic sensors called SQUIDs are the technical basis of biomagnetic measurements which allow insight into the function of human muscles and nerves. The analysis of biomagnetic measurement data is based on a multipole description of the current generator which is estimated using a best fit algorithm. The multipole approach can also be used for distinguishing flow and vortex current field components contributing to the measured signals. This is illustrated by experiments showing the presence of the two current field components in the repolarization phase of the heart beat. |
