| Zusammenfassung | HiTeMS is a funded EMRP project that started in September 2011. The objective of the project is to develop a suite of measurement methods and techniques that will facilitate a step change improvement in industrial high temperature measurements. Both improvements in contact and non-contact thermometry are envisaged, with special emphasis given to achieving in-process traceability to the defined temperature scale. Vigorous knowledge transfer will be effected by trade fair and congress presentations, articles in both academic and trade journals and a specific congress session or round table at Metrologie 2013 describing the project outcomes. |
