| Zusammenfassung | Ferrofluids are suspensions of coated single domain ferro- or ferrimagnetic particles dispersed in a carrier liquid. At the Münster Conference they were introduced for biomagnetic measurements. Beside the detection of ferrofluids in the presence of a steady magnetising field a possible amplification of biomagnetic signals was reported. Here we present in vitro studies on this amplification effect. In addition a novel approach to detect ferrofluids at low concentrations is suggested. |
