| Zusammenfassung | A new method for quantitatively determining the shape of a wavefront from an interferogram recorded with a shearing interferometer will be presented. The reconstruction is subdivided into two steps, each of them representing an inverse problem. At first, the information about the wavefront, which is coded in the form of the difference between the wavefront and a laterally sheared copy, has to be extracted from the interferogram. To determine the wavefront from the difference a new procedure will be presented which is based on filtering in the frequency domain with a transfer function specifically developed for this purpose. This technique requires hardly pre-information about the shape of the wavefront. It reconstructs the wavefront inside the whole aperture and furnishes accurate results with high lateral resolution for shears up to 20% of the aperture. |
