| Zusammenfassung | Several techniques have been developed for detecting radiation. However, very few have been established for detecting a radiation image two-dimensionally. The most widely used in this area were photo films. The advantages of the Computed Radiography (CR) systems become clear when it is compared with photo films or other radiation image sensors. They offer an ultrahigh sensitivity and can be used in a much larger dose range. One distinct advantage of the CR systems is that they have a higher spatial resolution and a linear dose-response over logarithms of the dose. |
