| Zusammenfassung | The nuclear spin is a unique field probe which can be utilized for traceable RF electromagnetic field measurements. Based on the principle of reciprocity the quantities of the electromagnetic fields are explored which describe the nuclear spin excitation and signal reception. Non-invasive measurement of these quantities can be performed by a typical MR scanner. Furthermore the equations necessary for a comparison with electromagnetic field simulations using computational electrodynamics are derived. Using these relations calibration schemes are proposed which are in particular important for calibration of field sensors, SAR probes and RF current clamps. |
