| Zusammenfassung | Liquid light guides are well known for their high throughput. Therefore, they are widely used in various industrial and research applications where UV radiation from a source is to be delivered with maximum effeciency to an irradiated object. In this contribution we present results of the temporal stability investigations on selected liquid light guides when used with high-intensity UV radiation sources. The study revealed deteriorations in the spectral transmission of the light guides that were found to depend on the spectrum and the intensity (dose) of the UV radiation being transmitted. The results point out possible in applications where temporal and spectral stability of the UV irradiation is required. |
