| Zusammenfassung | With a rotary test machine capable of generating torques up to 100 Nm and speeds up to 600 rpm, the influence of rotation on rotary torque transducers was examined. In this speed range, according to theory, the effect of the centripetal force is not detectable for transducers with cylindrical torsion body. With another facility, using a high-speed driver with low torque ripple and a spherical air bearing, zero point measurements, i.e. without torque application, at a speed of 6000 rpm are possible. In this case the relative effect of rotation is smaller than 10-4 of the nominal value. |
