| Zusammenfassung | Absolute calibration of spectral radiance and ir-radiance over a wide wavelength range is more and more demanded by science and industry. In particular space born remote sensing missions need an absolute, traceable calibration to deliver reliable, worldwide comparable results over long periods of time. To fulfil this increasing demand PTB is operating a variety of blackbody radiators in the temperature range from -170 °C up to 3200 °C, comprised in the special facility Primary Temperature Radiators (PriTeRa). PriTeRa pro-vides calculable blackbody radiation in the spectral range from 200 nm up to 800 μm, which is used to calibrate radiation sources, radiation thermometers and spectrometers for various applications. |
