Zusammenfassung Poor stray light suppression of array spectroradiometers is one of their most important application impediments, especially in the UV spectral region. For the spectral stray light characterisation we have applied a tuneable Pulsed Laser for Advanced Characterization of Spectroradiometers (PLACOS) based on an optical parametric oscillator enabling fast and simple tuning of wavelength within 220 nm to 2200 nm. We show that the pulsed laser System delivers spectrally pure radiation yielding same characterisation results as in the case of a cw-laser. Results for several array spectroradiometers with appropriate input optic operating also in UVB-UVA region are presented and the effectiveness of the corrections is demonstrated.
