| Zusammenfassung | Two reported structures for CdGa2Se4 are shown to be the same thiogallate, the apparent difference being due to a misunderstanding by the Kishinev group. An alternative interpretation of the Raman scattering from CdGa2Se4 is presented. It is suggested that the peak at 277 cm-1 is due to the scattering of two ‘breathing’ phonons. |
