| Zusammenfassung | Applications of the laser-Doppler velocity-profile sensors are reported towards high spatially resolved flow investigations. Different sensors were developed and applied to the measurements in a fully developed channel flow and a micro-channel flow. The turbulence statistics were obtained up to the fourth order central moment in the near-wall region of the channel flow. They showed good agreements with available DNS data with three different measurement conditions. The velocity profile in a two-dimensional micro-channel with 100 μm width was successfully measured. The measured profile in the micro-channel showed a clear analytical parabolic velocity distribution for a laminar viscous flow. In both applications measurements were carried out through optical window. The velocity-profile sensors will be combined to create a velocity-field sensor. The first flow experiment with the velocity-field sensor will be reported as well. |
