| Zusammenfassung | This paper focuses on the synthesis of bipolar waveform voltage signals at NMi VSL with a recently developed Josephson Arbitrary Waveform Synthesizer (JAWS). With a Josephson array from IPHT, the synthesized sinusoidal voltages have amplitudes in the range from 1 mVpp to 20 mVpp (peak-to-peak) and frequency in the range from 300 Hz to 150 kHz. For instance, when amplitude is around 20 mVpp a measured spectrum of the synthesized voltage at 122 kHz shows higher harmonics at least 85 dB below the fundamental tone. With a Josephson array from PTB, sinusoidal voltage with amplitudes exceeding 125 mVpp are generated, however so far higher harmonics in the measured spectrum are 60-70 dB below the fundamental. |
