| Zusammenfassung | The paper deals with the problem of reconstructing extended brain sources from electric or magnetic field recordings. Detailed analytical studies are presented for a current dipole layer source in a conducting sphere used to model the head. The location and the spatial extent of the source are determined by means of multipole expansion. Significant differences between bioelectric and biomagnetic reconstruction are obtained for a location of the source model at the center of the conducting sphere. |
