| Zusammenfassung | In this work we develop a detailed 2D computational model of cardiac tissue taking into account the microstructure of the tissue. A histological micrograph taken from tissue used in an animal experiment was processed in order to extract the local cardiac fiber direction as well as the realistic geometry of cardiac tissue. The numerical simulation was compared to the experimental results taken from high-resolution extracellular recordings. The numerical results presented a fractionated propagation very similar to the experiment, thus correctly reflecting the microstructure of the tissue. as artifacts by ICA. |
