| Zusammenfassung | In the framework of the European project "MULTICELLS", two models of new-generation devices for the realisation of temperature fixed points in the cryogenic range - multicompartment triple-point cells (M-cells) containing four elements, each filled with one reference substance (argon, oxyge, neon, and hydrogen), designed and fabricated by IMGC, Turin, and BNM-INM/ CNAM, Paris - were tested at INTiBS PAN. A co-operation between the partners was carried out over more than three years to improve the design of the M-cells. Furthermore, a sealed cell for realising the lambda point of 4He was designed. In this paper, results obtained at INTiBS for the M-cell of the IMGC design are presented. To establish an uncertainty budget, among other influencing factors, the thermal resistance between the solid phase and the metallic body of the element, the time constant and the recovery time were determined. The results of testing the European model of the lambda-point cell are described, too. |
