| Zusammenfassung | The International Code of Practice for dosimetry based on absorbed dose to water standards is presented. The Code fulfills the need for a systematic and internationally unified approach to the calibration of ionization chambers in terms of absorbed dose to water and the use of these detectors for dosimetry in radiotherapy photon, electron, proton and heavy ion beams. The Code is addressed to users provided with absorbed dose to water calibrations traceable to Primary Standards Dosimetry Laboratories. |
