| Zusammenfassung | PTB's atomic fountain frequency standard CSF1 has matured to a regularly operated primary frequency standard. A standard configuration has been adopted, aiming at a compromise between achievable frequency instability and systematic frequency shift due to cold atoms collisions, which is used during routine operation. In this mode, the combined relative CSF1 uncertainty amounts to 1×10-15 and the relative frequency instability amounts to 2×10-13x(τ/s)-1/2 During 2001, CSF1 was used to measure the TAI scale unit during four intervals of 15 or 20 days duration, and another measurement is planned in November. Furthermore, CSF1 was compared to the fountain NIST-F1 of the National Institute of Standards and Technology using GPS carrier phase technique and TWSTFT. Recent results will be discussed. |
