| Zusammenfassung | This paper presents a summary of practices and results of recent inter-comparison programs on air flow measurement standards among National Measurement Institutes (NMIs). Test measurements range from high-pressure air to mini-flow rate and employ both gravimetric and volumetric principles. For airflow measurement, sonic nozzle and turbine meter provide good repeatable data for inter-laboratory comparison. From each set test result, the mean deviation is less than 0,2%, which lies within expectations based on the uncertainty level of each laboratory, and shows good agreement among participating NMIs. It is concluded that the measurement comparison program proved valuable for an NMi to assure its claimed measurement uncertainty and proficiency. |
