| Zusammenfassung | Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) has set-up a measurement facility for calibration of thermography systems based on high quality blackbody radiators covering the temperature range from -60°C up to 3000°C. The traceability to ITS-90 is either performed by platinum resistance thermometers (below 962°C) or by radiation thermometry with respect to the gold fixed-point (above 962°C). Additionally, the facility enables investigation of the angular and temperature resolution of the imaging system. A collimator system is used for enabling investigation at infinite object distance. Different environmental conditions can be reproduced by putting the thermography systems in a climate chamber, allowing detailed controlling of humidity and temperature. |
