| Zusammenfassung | Properties of high-resolution focusing neutron diffractometers operating at NPI Rez and GKSS Geesthacht which are used for stress/main measurements and opened for external users are summarized. Presented experimental results demonstrate their experimental abilities for nondestructive testing and evaluation of a phase and deformation response of polycrystalline materials. Due to the unique resolution and good luminosity achieved by focusing in real and momentum space, besides the macrostrain scanning, the diffractometers are also qualified for microstrain studies by an analysis of the diffraction profile. |
