| Zusammenfassung | The application of experimental design has so far not received much attention in the field of metrology, in contrast to, e.g., industrial engineering. The ideas underlying the statistical concepts of experimental design are described, and their application to fields of metrology will be discussed. Finally, a brief description of a successful application of experimental design in metrology will be given. |
