Zusammenfassung The paper reviews the modern structure of measurement science and technology. New hardware and software tools applied now in measurement have opened up new opportunities and resulted in new problems, some of them are named and analysed in the paper. The problem of ameasuring signal reconstruction is considered as a main measurement problem. Technological advancement should be followed by a new theoretical development. The paper proposes an application of new mathematical theories of computational intelligence (first of all, fuzzy logic and interval analysis) in measurement. The problems of this development are analysed, simple practical examples are given.
