| Zusammenfassung | The main steps of the calibration of personal dosimeters in terms of the personal dose equivalent Hp (10) are described. Special consideration is given to ISO photon reference radiations, conversion coefficients from air kerma to Hp (10), various calibration methods including an example of a routine calibration, and positioning of dosimeters for the calibration. In particular, radiation qualities used for measuring the response as a function of the photon energy and of the direction of the incident radiation in an intercomparison of a Co-ordinated Research Project of the IAEA are dealt with. |
