| Zusammenfassung | Between February 24 and 26, 199, the Fachverband für Strahlenschutz e.V. held an advanced training course in Tabarz/Thuringia on the subject "Dosimetry of external radiation: recent developments". The following contribution is dealing with: New Operational Quantities for Radiation Protection. The paper describes the equivalent dose and dose equivalent quantities as defined in ICRP Publication 60, the relationships between these quantities and its application areas. The course was organised by the working group "Dosimetry of external radiation". Target groups of the course were persons bearing responsibility in the radiation protection sector and interested persons with basic knowledge of this field. |
