| Zusammenfassung | Area and individual monitoring at CASTOR transport casks Neutron radiation may contribute significantly to the dose equivalent rate near transport casks for burnt nuclear fuel. The origin of such radiation is described and typical neutron spectra are shown. Radiation protection measurements for area and individual monitoring are described and some results are given for the CASTOR transport cask. The variation of dose equivalent rate with the distance from the cask surface is discussed. |
