| Zusammenfassung | This paper describes three scale comparisons in the temperature range from 1300 K to 3100 K between the NMIJ, the NPL, and the PTB. The measurements for the comparison of the NPL and the PTB high-temperature scales were performed at the NPL in February 2003. A calibrated LP3 radiation thermometer of the PTB was hand-carried to the NPL. The NPL used its primary radiation thermometer, an LP2 and a Thermo Gauge furnace. The comparison was carried out in the temperature range from 1300 K to 3100 K. The agreement of the scales was within 0.7 K, which lies within the combined standard uncertainty of the comparison. The first comparison between the NMIJ and the PTB was performed at the NMIJ in September 2001. A calibrated LP3 from the PTB was sent to the NMIJ by carrier. The NMIJ applied a calibrated Topcon radiation thermometer and the blackbody used was a Thermo Gauge furnace. The comparison was carried out in the temperature range from 1300 K to 2800 K. The second comparison was performed at the PTB in April/May 2003, here a calibrated NMIJ Topcon was hand-carried to the PTB. The blackbody used was a BB3200pg and the high-temperature scales were compared in the temperature range from 1300 K to 2900 K. Between the measurements at the NIMJ and the PTB, the interference filters of the LP3 were replaced by a new type of filter with improved thermal stability. The agreement of the two scales was within 0.8 K for the first comparison and within 0.4 K for the second comparison, well within the combined standard uncertainty. |
