| Zusammenfassung | Results are presented of an intercomparison of force measurement between the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), India and the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Germany, using dead weight force standard machines over the range 1-5 kN. The intercomparison using two NPL dead weight force standard machines of full scale of 5 and 50 kN, and the PTB dead weight force standard machine of 20 kN full scale was carried out during Aug.2002 to March 2003. The relative differences in the force mean values deduced from the direct comparison of two force transfer standards to their full capacities of 2 and 5 kN forms the basis of the comparison of the dead weight force primary standards established in these two laboratories. |
